Looking ahead to the last Quarter of 2016,
there is still much to look forward to before the
final curtain falls on this year. Our time will be
filled with Matric and College examinations,
prize-giving events, Honours, Valedictory
as well as the Pre-Primary Concert and
Graduation.
Our new extension to the Foundation Phase
classroom block is well underway and includes
a dedicated dance venue complete with
sprung floor as well as a music venue for our
Preparatory learners. The new classrooms will
offer a similar environment to the one we have
now, providing lots of space to move and grow.

We would like to wish our learners the very
best in the forthcoming examinations and to our
Matrics of 2015, whose Matric examinations
commence on 20 October. The Parklands
College Board of Directors extend their best
wishes to all of you.
We look forward to welcoming you all back
on 11 October.
Enjoy the short break!
Everyone is anticipating the completion of the
new water polo pool on the Intermediate Phase
side and construction of the change rooms is
complete with tiling well underway. We are
looking forward to the handover in time for
swimming in January.
The pool will be solar heated and the panels
will be fixed to the hall roof. Very exciting times
ahead for our young learners and the College!
