The first quarter in Grade 8 was very
challenging because we were all still trying
to ease into our new classes, become better
acquainted with our peers and learn the
hectic timetable. We weren’t really sure of our
classmates or ourselves.
In the second quarter, we were more settled
and having more fun in our classes together.
Grade 8 is much more exciting than Grade 7
because we learn about different cultures and
other exciting things. Our grade is a hub of
energy and the friendly camaraderie will make
you smile even on your worst day. Grade 8
has many different characters who are very
quirky and a lot of fun.We have our own book
worms, smooth guys, 80s expert, the sporty
jocks – including our own pro kite-boarder
and MotoX king, Einsteins, witty boys who
are always up to no good, musicians, dancers
and even our very own Eminem and tech
support. We look forward to school every day
to experience many more new things with
our grade. We work hard together to reach
our goals as a grade, working as teams in our
various homerooms and encouraging each
other to always do the best that we can do.
Our grade is so diverse and filled with different
cultures and nationalities and I love being
in such an eclectic and colourful grade. This
year has been really enjoyable because we are
always there for each other, to lend a helping
hand, and never back down from a challenge.
