A Grade One Adventure
What an adventure
We have been on.
Learning,
Working,
Whilst still having fun!
Listening to stories,
Learning how to read.
Writing,
Creating,
Helping others in need.
We’ve bused it to the theatre
And watched a play there
About a big bad wolf
Who gave three pigs quite a scare!
Some dogs came to school
To show off their magic
They were dancing and jumping,
We were ecstatic!
Then there was SANCCOB
And Rocky the penguin bird,
‘Saving our planet is very important’
We hung onto every word.
We’ve stepped out into space.
It was dark.We could see the stars.
We learnt all about our universe
And all the planets near and far.
We’ve had fun with our Grade Sixes
Read and played games with them.
It really was a great experience
We hope to do it again!
And of course we’ve done some projects
On our iPads- they made us think!
And gained skills we’ll have forever
Like words written in indelible ink.
It’s so exciting!We can’t wait!
Next year we’re Grade Twos…
