As our Butterflies prepare for their journey
through Christopher Robin Pre-Primary, we look
back and reflect on the year that we have had in
Crackerjacks and can only sayWOW!
The little ones have thoroughly enjoyed the
many special days and events we have had.
During the delightful summer months, we
frolicked in our swimming costumes and enjoyed
many water play days. Our fun filled time was
spent exploring concepts such as light and heavy,
more and less, full and of course empty!
After many exhausting mornings learning and
discovering, we relaxed with enjoyable picnics
and playing outdoors with our friends.We
celebratedValentines Day by spreading a little
love and delighted our parents with sprinkles of
our artwork and pictures on this special day.
The little ones were captivated with the topic
and discussions about their homes and eager
to share pictures of where they live as well as
the special rooms in their homes.We also saw
budding architects with their amazing three-
dimensional designs created from recycled
materials. Many of our special days involved
messy play where the little ones had time
to explore an exciting sensory environment
including activities such as playdough, paint, water
and cornflour.
We celebrated pyjama day in winter, and
snuggled up with our hot chocolate and
marshmallows.After warming up with games
and activities we ended the day with songs and
stories.
All could not have been done without the
input of the outstanding contribution from you,
the parents.We have formed special bonds with
your little ones and we thank you for entrusting
them to our care.We feel privileged that they
have begun their journey with us in Crackerjacks.
