The Pre-Primary Faculty

It’s all about the children...
This year I would like to pay tribute to our children for their
wonderful progress. Each of them in their own way, has grown.
Some have developed certain vital skills, some have gained
confidence, some have settled in a class for the first time and
some have grown in independence. Whatever their achievement,
be it big or small, we are very proud of each and every one of
them. We have shared their journey with them as well as with
you as parents. We have been alongside them, encouraging,
supporting and loving.
I would like to acknowledge and thank our parent body for
being our partners in the education process and for your support
and commitment. As you page through this magazine, it is my
hope that your child’s exciting adventure in creativity and discovery
will be very apparent. We hope that you will see the wonderful play
and learning opportunities they have experienced throughout the
year.
As our educators teach our little ones about the world around
them and introduce them to the exciting literary and mathematical
possibilities, we must never forget that it is the fundamentals that
help shape our children.
It is imperative that we take time to reinforce the importance
of “please” and “thank you”. In our rushed lives we often forget
that it is the smallest things that help to make one’s day. We are
always delighted by the pure pleasure our children show when they
are complimented or encouraged to try with a little assistance, and
then succeed. When teaching young children it is often not about
the daily learning but more so about the experiences they share
with us.
Teaching is all about inspiring, engaging and empowering our
children. It is about making a difference to future generations.
Our educators accept each child as an individual with unique
challenges and great potential. I would like to take this
opportunity to acknowledge the staff in the Pre-Primary for their
hard work and dedication in helping our little ones build their
foundations for the future.

To the Christopher Robin
Pre-Primary Teachers:
With a special gift for learning
And with a heart that deeply
cares,
You add a lot of love
To everything you share,
And even though
You mean a lot,
You’ll never know how much,
For you helped
To change the world
Through every life you touched.
You sparked the creativity
In the students whom you
taught,
And helped them strive for goals
That could not be bought.
You are such a special teacher
That no words can truly tell
However much you’re valued
For the work you do so well.
