Robot Warz SA ___________________ One of the options offered in this new utility will be the choice to take part in the first year launch of Robot Warz South Africa. Park - lands College has recently taken delivery of two battle robots, Dozer and Flipper, that will be entered into the Robot Warz South Africa competition at the 2021 rAge Expo in Johannesburg. The nature of the competition is to build a robot that will challenge other robots with the goal of doing battle and winning challenges by destroying competitors’ robots in order to advance to the next stage. This util - ity option will equip learners with the mechanical, electronic, pro - gramming and strategic skills needed in order to adjust the robot’s design on the fly while facing the challenges presented by other com - petitors. Learners will have the opportunity of signing up for one of the two Parklands College teams who will represent the College at the first tournament to be held at the RAGE exhibition in 2021. technovation ___________________ Technovation is a technology entrepreneurship programme and competition for young women that provides teen girls with the op - portunity to build mobile apps and to inspire them to participate in Technovation Challenge. Lab Assistants depend solely on engaging in the areas of science and scientific experiments with the members. We hope that soon we will develop new strategies on how to connect with all of our members and continue investigating the areas of various science components. Anna Rozhkov Lab Assistants Chairperson
