This meant astro as a playing surface which is very different from grass. Our girls trained very diligently and with the talent in our teams we managed to play a good brand of Hockey and achieve some excellent results. The girls were dedicated and committed to their training and achieved some excellent results. The U/16 team is skilled and there are many talented individuals in the team. Personal highlight was the inclusion of Katia Leça (Grade 8) into theWestern Province North team. With our intention of growing our sporting programme, we introduced U/13 teams to all of our sporting codes. To introduce ourselves to our neighbouring schools, we hosted a Northern District Softball Tourna- ment followed by theWestern Province Primary School Rugby Tri- als, which were both successful. Our teams have performed very well and the talent witnessed, by our learners, bodes well for the future.
