Quarter 4 Newsletter 2022
4 Executive Prefects on the move … Our Executive Prefects represented the Secondary Faculty at the CRPP Concert and Graduation, Grade 1-5 Growing Minds Celebration and the Grade 6 Awards Morning. Staff Play On the last day of every academic year, the Secondary Staff entertain the learners with the Staff Play. This was the last one to be directed by Ms Dodders, so it was extra special. In the year of StageStruck - A Night at the Musicals we decided to do an abridged version of GREASE, renamed Greasy. A lot of fun was had by everyone who performed and by those who attended. Service Our final projects of the year concluded this week with collections for Home of Hope and Fallen Angels. We would like to thank everyone who donated to these worthy causes. Home of Hope is a registered non-profit organisation that provides care services for abused, abandoned and neglected children in our country, with a focus on those affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), which is permanent brain damage caused by pre- natal exposure to alcohol. We do this because we believe that every child has the right to become socially responsible adults, reaching their full God-given potential, within society. Fallen Angels Pet Rescue is a registered NPO focusing on the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of domestic animals. Any animal that is forgotten, abandoned (abused), lost, lonely, emaciated and neglected is considered to be a Fallen Angel & therefore part of the focus area of this organisation. Through animal therapy they aim to assist in healing the broken souls of any “FALLEN Angels” they are financially able to assist. FINAL WORD We would like to thank our cleaning staff for keeping our buildings pristine and working very hard to have everything ready for 2023!
