Raft Building in Groups Grade 9 This year’s Grade 9 camp at Matroosberg was set to optimise the learners’ ability to work together, stand together and encourage each other, and to see how they react when operating out of their comfort zones. Different groups rotated over the course for 2 days between activities such as high ropes, raft building, self-defence, archery and lawn games. The learners were confronted with many emotional and adrenaline filled activities which required the groups to work together at all times.
