Congratulations on another year of outstanding achievements. Well done to our learners, their Principals and teachers, who have once again given of their best and achieved so much during 2019.  As the draws to a close we look forward to an exciting and prosperous 2020. To our Grade Rs - our Pre-Primary has challenged, inspired and instilled in each one, a sense of wonder in the world in which they live and it is with confidence that we hand them over to the Junior Preparatory. Their boundaries of discovery will be extended as they embrace new technologies and inventions that will one day improve our lives and will hopefully make our planet cleaner and safer. We look forward to monitoring their progress as they move through the College over the next 12 years and all being well, should matriculate in 2031. To our Pre-Primary team, you are indeed special and are to be complimented on the love and dedication you shower upon our young learners, you make each one truly count.  As the Grade Twelve student body leave us, we would like to remind them that there is no strength without challenge or adversity. Striving for a goal constantly presents many challenges, but that is where one’s strength will come from together with one’s ability to stand up, face the challenges and walk through them. Whichever path they traverse, we hope that they will remember the lessons that they learnt from their time at Parklands College. My final words of advice to them are, ‘Be yourself, have the courage to follow the course that you believe to be right, make the most of your abilities, take your part where you have a contribution to make and give back to society as much as you take from it - in other words, continue on your journey of excellence and hold aloft your ideals and vision, and you shall justly reap the rewards of your labours.’ Finally, thank you to every parent for entrusting us with your children. We are sure that you share in our pride as we delight in their achievements. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our educator body of 2019. They have held the vision fast in times of challenge and have celebrated in the glory of our many achievements. Their dedication can never be underestimated. With the continued support of such a committed team and the continuous backing of our parents and Board we will continue to grow from strength to strength.
