2021 Magazine
69 2021 | Edition No. 24 | As Mr Nelson Mandela said, “… there are many more hills to climb …”, but having successfully navigated our way through the treacherous 2021, we believe we are unstoppable. When we look back in years to come at this extraordinary time in our lives and the life at our school, we will be grateful and proud. We can confi - dently say that our ability to adapt to change quickly, innovatively and with enthusiasm, has stood us in good stead. The resilience of our young people, furthermore inspired and mo- tivated us throughout the year. We are fully aware of how blessed we are to be working and learning in a beautiful, safe and well-resourced envi- ronment and it has been heartwarm- ing to see how our learners and staff reached out to those less fortunate. We witnessed instant support for the fire fighters when our beloved Table Mountain was on fire, we saw ongoing collections for various charity causes and learners and staff giving of their time to help make a difference, but we also saw young individuals initiating life changing projects, which augurs well for the future of our country.
