Use the “ Dress Design Sheet ” included in this kit to sketch some of your design ideas and plan your dress before you start making it.Thinkof thecoloursyou’d like touse,and thecutsyou’d like to make. Use our handy “ Trim Suggestions ”and “ Suggested ColourCombinations ”guideson thebox for some inspiration. 2. Before you start creating your design, make sure that your workspace iscoveredand ispreferablynon-stick.A sheetofplastic workswell. 3. Place thedoll in frontofyouand liftherarmsup so that theyare next to her head andoutof theway. 4. Follow theexamples in the“ PatternCutting ”guideon thebox. We recommend that you start with the bodice or the top section of the dress first, and then create your skirt or the bottom of the dress afterwards. 5. Using the rollerprovided in the kit, roll thedoughout to a large sheet or as wide and las ong as you can. A thickness of 0.5 cm / 5mm isperfect. To speed things up use a larger and heavier roller such abaking rollingpin. 6. Using thedough spatulaprovided in thiskit, cutoutyourdough patternpiecesandcarefully liftandplace themonto thedoll.Press the dough down gently to secure it, as well as joining the edges together where gaps may appear between the dough pieces. If your dress is skew or uneven dont worry! You can press it into place andmove it upon the surfaceof thedoll tohelp fix this. Younow have abase layerdress to embellish upon! 7. Decorate your dress with the rhinestones provided, as well as some dough decorations for your dress. See some of our “ Detail Suggestions ” on this packaging for some ideas or create your own! 8.
