Undoubtedly our participation in tours, festivals and tournaments throughout 2018 will count as highlights of the sporting year. The winter season started with great excitement as we hosted the 3rd edition of the West Coast Festival. This event saw around 700 rugby and netball players converge on our sport fields to take part in this ever growing festival. All neighbouring schools attended this year, with Camps Bay and St Cyprian’s the furthest travellers. The weather held and the nearly 3000 supporters and spectators enjoyed free-flowing running, passing and scoring from both sports. Our resident rugby professional, Kabamba Floors, was present and gave valuable advice to players and coaches. It was a most successful day and an excellent advertisement for our College and our sporting philosophy. 135. parklands.co.za
