Once again our dedicated Trinity learners did us proud and produced a 100% pass rate for their Trinity results in 2016. Many of our dedicated learners worked for a number of years towards these exams. Special mention must be made of Daniella Mizrachi and Aza Mbovane, who both received the prestigious Silver Medal Award, which goes to the top achievers in the region for their outstanding results of 96% for Grade 8 Speech and Drama. Since its inception at the College we have had four learners receive the Silver Medal Award and it is hoped that in the years to come there will be many more following in Daniella, Aza, Nicol and Luella’s footsteps. Last year we had a large number of participants and Mr Wyngaard and Ms Dodders extend their congratulations to all the Trinity candidates who achieved excellent results in the examinations. Trinity College Speech And Drama Report House Plays 2017 The second quarter brought about the annual and highly anticipated House Play productions. Each house produced a 20 minute one act play, which was directed by their house captains. Many hours were spent on the production process, with the house captains, cast and crew working hard to produce a well structured theatrical experience. The house captains had to write the script, direct the play and create all the advertising materials (poster and ticket) themselves. They had little to no guidance from staff, who motivated the house captains to showcase their skills and talent.
