The College provides a variety of outdoor education activities in order to enrich a learner’s experience of life. Camps and outings are planned for each grade during the course of the year. Grade camps focus on establishing developing life skills and friendships. Experienced camp masters and leaders facilitate these excursions.
The duration of camps extends as the learners progress through the grades culminating in the Grade 12 excursion to the Orange River in Namibia. Sleeping beneath the stars, white-water rafting and experiencing the starkness and extremities of this desolate location, renders them refreshed and prepared for their final year at school.
Excursions to different places take our learners to heritage sites and places of culture, exposing them to the richness and diversity of South Africa.
