Weekly Round-Up
The College will be a very busy place during the holidays with our Grade 12 Winter School and Annie rehearsals spread out over the next month. We are pleased to announce that ticket bookings for Annie will soon be available through Computicket. More information will follow shortly. This production promises to be highly entertaining and yet another highlight on the Parklands calendar.
May was the month for Dance Eisteddfods and I want to pay tribute to Sylvia Stander and Simone Nieuwoudt who spent many hours preparing our dancers and many hours supporting them at the Eisteddfods. They can indeed feel very proud of the excellent results achieved by all our dancers.
The Matric Ball takes place on the first Friday of next quarter. Parents and learners from all grades are invited to watch our Matrics walk down the red carpet as they arrive for pre-drinks at the College hall between 17:30 and 18:30. See you there!
The last weekly round-up for this quarter will go out next Friday, 9 June.

Learner Profile: Elllie Clews
We can be very proud of the initiative taken by Ellie Clews, one of our Grade 9 learners. Ellie was selected as a member of our 1st Netball Team earlier this year and she decided to start a Parklands Action Netball Team in order to afford the girls the opportunity to play more netball at a higher level. This team, consisting of girls ranging from U/15 to U/18 can be seen competing against other senior netball teams at the Montague Gardens Indoor Netball Centre on a Wednesday night. This young team have managed to win through to the final stage of this competition and we congratulate them and wish them all the best for the finals on Wednesday night.
